Emily Falvey

I am a Diploma qualified Educator that has recently joined the Quirindi Preschool Kindergarten family.

Coming from a long day care service with 4 years’ experience, and a ‘Jack of all Trades’ background I am very much living the Early Childhood Education and Care life, with two young boys at home who share my can-do attitude and zest for life.

I believe that children need to feel safe, secure and supported so that they can thrive, not only in a learning setting but also throughout all aspects of their lives.

Building respectful, reciprocal relationships with children is therefore very important for me, and I use my personal experiences, circle of security, playful teaching and a holistic approach to support and build relationships, tailoring my approach for each individual child.

I respect and acknowledge children as intellectual individuals, and have a passion for observing, understanding, and planning for children’s unique personalities, learning styles and interests.

I love to embrace children’s individualism and take so much joy out of helping them feel confident enough to share this with the world.

I strongly believe that the children we are teaching today will be our leaders of tomorrow, and I take pride in nurturing foundational skills that they will need to fuel their life’s journey.
